About Bejuled |
|
Bejuled Bengals is a small cattery, founded in the Seattle area, which has relocated to California. We have been raising Bengals since 1996 when Julie first fell in love with a little seal lynx point spotted Bengal called Gabby. Julie is the co-founder of MEOW, a no-kill shelter in the Seattle area. She has served on the Board of Directors of the International Bengal Cat Society (TIBCS) in the capacity of Senior Vice President, 2nd Vice President and Chair of the Ethics Committee. Currently, Julie volunteers her time as a veterinary technician with Forgotten Cats, a non-profit, no-kill, trap-neuter-release shelter. Mark is a licensed Allbreed, Teaching and Training Judge with The International Cat Association (TICA). He served on the TICA Board of Directors as the Northeast Regional Director and is currently on the TICA Judge’s Review Committee. Mark is a certified veterinary technician and has been judging, breeding and raising pedigreed cats for 27 years. He occasionally has lectured at the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. All of our kittens are raised underfoot and kept out of cages to ensure that they will have the proper socialization and loving dispositions they need to go directly from our home to yours. Bejuled Bengal kittens and cats love to curl up near their people, sleep under the covers in bed, and are a very active (and sometimes vocal) member of the family. Bejuled Bengals is a closed cattery and does not offer stud services. Although we prefer not to ship our kittens, we would consider it after meeting prospective new owners. Feel free to call for an appointment to meet the Bejuled family. As of July 1, 2007, we are no longer breeding cats. We are now focusing on raising our son, but will remain active in the cat fancy. Watch for us at the shows! |
